Philip Watson

Philip Watson has a diverse work experience in the fields of vendor management, outsourcing, procurement, and advisory services. Philip is currently working as the Group Head of Vendor Management at Monument Re Group, overseeing various responsibilities such as procurement, on-boarding, integrations, performance management, and risk management. Philip is also involved in designing and implementing a new Target Operating Model for the organization. Prior to their current role, they worked as an Outsourcing Manager at Monument Re Group.

Before joining Monument Re Group, Philip worked at EY as a Senior Manager in Advisory Services, where they focused on program management and procurement consulting for clients in the Public Sector and Energy & Assets industries. Philip also held the role of Advisory Manager - Performance Improvement at EY, where they worked on improvement initiatives and organization restructuring for utility companies and provided procurement consulting for a public sector body.

Philip's early career was as the Managing Director of Chirl Sourcing Solutions, where their core skills included sourcing and procurement, supplier relationship management, and logistics planning. Philip built a network of qualified suppliers in China and gained experience in both direct and indirect procurement.
