Garrison Dakota Alger has a diverse work experience in various industries. Garrison Dakota is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Monuments starting from November 2022. Before that, they worked at Amazon for several years, holding positions such as Manager Product Management, Sr. Product Manager, Sr. Vendor Manager, and Vendor Manager in different divisions. Prior to Amazon, Garrison worked as a Technical Project Manager at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, leading program development for technical projects. Garrison Dakota also served as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at the University of Washington, where they led operations strategy for product development and collaborated with industry experts. Garrison started their career at BioFire Diagnostics, Inc. as a Research Scientist, managing the development roadmap for a nucleic acid extraction product. Garrison Dakota also worked as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at Intermountain Healthcare, where they owned the research portfolio and made significant contributions to improving diagnostic capabilities.
Garrison Dakota Alger holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Technology Management from the University of Washington, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MS) in Laboratory Medicine and Biomedical Science from the University of Utah between 2011 to 2012. Garrison Dakota'sundergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist from Weber State University, completed from 2008 to 2011.

Monuments Academy
Monuments is a therapeutic school and treatment center that serves young men ages 13-17 and their families. Monuments creates a unique relational experience through relevant learning by utilizing clinical expertise, true horsemanship, progressive education and a community based living environment. Through customized treatment and individual success plans, each young man will find self-efficacy and life-long change. These collaborative plans are supported through individual, family and group therapy, an accredited, individualized high school experience and coupled with a rich entrepreneurial focus. Our mission is to ensure that each young man comes out of Monuments with a new and empowering narrative that helps him take responsibility for the decisions that set the course for his future. Monuments was designed to work congruently across treatment modalities, creating an atmosphere conducive to ultimate healing and lasting change.
