Jamie McDonald has extensive work experience in engineering and management roles.

Jamie McDonald started their career in 2009 as a Student Software Developer at Codeplay Software Ltd. They then worked as a Tutor at the University of Glasgow from 2010 to 2011.

From 2011 to 2012, Jamie worked as an Android Developer at Novoda, where they developed high-profile apps in small teams.

In 2012, Jamie joined Guardian News & Media as an Android Developer.

Jamie then moved to SoundCloud in 2013, where they initially worked as a Mobile Engineer.
