Sepanda Pouryahya

Sepanda Pouryahya, PhD, is currently the Director of Data/ML at Monzo Bank, where they leverage their extensive background in data science and machine learning. Previously, they served in various leadership roles, including Head of Data at Fospha Marketing and Engineering Manager ML/AI at Meta. With a solid academic foundation, including a PhD in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Mathematical Physics, Sepanda has contributed significantly to research and education. They have also engaged in entrepreneurial efforts at an educational institute and volunteered at dog shelters, showcasing a commitment to community and lifelong learning.
