Sara Freeman is an experienced therapist with a strong background in counseling and mental health advocacy. Currently serving as a Therapist at Mood Treatment Center since October 2018, Sara previously worked as a Contract Therapist at Help, Incorporated: Center Against Violence and completed counseling internships at Guilford College and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Notably, Sara has facilitated various counseling groups, provided individual therapy, and engaged in outreach and educational programming focused on mental health awareness. Sara's earlier research roles included positions at prominent institutions, where contributions were made to studies on cognitive psychology and the development of psychological interventions. Sara holds a B.A. in History, magna cum laude, from Davidson College and has completed advanced training at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
