Mike Powers has a diverse work experience in the broadcasting and retail industries. Mike began their career as a Programming Assistant and On-Air Talent at Brewer Media in 2002 and worked there until 2006. Following this, they joined Mix 104.1 WCLE as an Operations Manager and Program Director from 2006 to 2012. After that, they worked as an Assistant Store Manager at Dollar General from 2012 to 2013. Mike then served as the Operations Manager at Dade County Broadcasting, Inc from 2013 to 2018. In 2018, they joined Moody Radio as the Director of Operations. From 2019 onwards, they took on the role of Afternoon Host at Alive 96.9 WALI-AM/FM, which is a part of Beverly Broadcasting Co.
Mike Powers attended Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) from 1990 to 1993. During this time, they studied Mass Communication/Media Studies. However, specific details about the degree they obtained are not provided.
