David Platt

David Platt is the current Chief Strategy Officer at Moody's Corporation. Prior to this, they served as managing director for mergers and acquisitions at Deutsche Bank, Bank of America, and Citi. David also worked as an adjunct professor of accounting at Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business and as a senior analyst in Fidelity Investments' money market/fixed income division.

David Platt earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting and Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. David also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Economy from University of California, Berkeley.

David Platt reports to Robert Fauber, President & CEO. They work with Scott Kenney - SVP, Risk Management & Chief Audit Executive, Richard Cantor - Chief Credit Officer, and Steve Cochrane - Chief Asia-Pacific Economist.
