LaWanda M. is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in risk management and capital management. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Moody's Corporation since May 2022, LaWanda previously held the role of Chief Risk Officer at PHEAA from December 2018 to May 2022. Earlier in the career, LaWanda worked as a Finance Consultant from October 2012 to December 2018 and served as SVP Head of Capital Management at TD Bank from September 2010 to September 2012. LaWanda began professional career as a Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where tenure lasted from August 1996 to September 2010. LaWanda holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and a B.S. magna cum laude in Accounting from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
