Melissa Markowitz

Melissa Markowitz, CMP, is an accomplished events professional with extensive experience in managing and coordinating large-scale events. Currently serving as Director of Events and Outreach at Moody's Corporation since September 2012, Melissa leads a team in organizing over 30 events annually, working closely with senior stakeholders to align the events portfolio with organizational goals. Previous roles include Assistant Director and Senior Events and Outreach Manager at Moody's, and various positions at the American Geophysical Union, where Melissa managed a major annual meeting attended by over 22,000 participants. Earlier in her career, Melissa held research and policy analysis roles at the American Association of State Colleges and Universities. Melissa holds a B.S. in Applied Statistics from American University.
