Michelle Berninger

Michelle Berninger is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in labor and employment law. Currently serving as Associate General Counsel and Head of Global Labor and Employment at Moody's Corporation since December 2019, Michelle has a strong background in corporate legal matters. Prior to this role, Michelle was Deputy General Counsel at Maersk Services USA, Inc. from September 2009 to November 2019 and held the position of Assistant General Counsel at Moody's Investors Service, Inc. from June 2000 to August 2009. Michelle's legal career commenced at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates as an Associate from October 1995 to June 2000. Michelle holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Notre Dame.
