David Carballo

David Carballo is an experienced R&D Manager at Moog Medical Devices since April 2019, with a strong background in research and development roles, including positions as Staff Research and Development Engineer, Senior Research and Development Engineer, and Design and Development Engineer. Concurrently, David holds a professorship at Universidad de Costa Rica, teaching CAD (2D and 3D) from January 2013 to December 2023. Prior to Moog, David served as Technical Lead at Emerson Commercial & Residential Solutions, overseeing the Therm-O-Disc R&D group, and held various engineering roles at Hultec Terramix S.A. and Wright Medical Technology. David earned a Master’s degree in Medical Devices from Tecnológico de Costa Rica and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de Costa Rica.
