Geert Bevin

Geert Bevin is an accomplished professional in the software development and digital audio industries with extensive experience across various roles since 2003. Currently serving as the Director of Software Development at Moog Music Inc, Geert has also held significant positions such as Principal Software Engineer for Roger Linn Design, Senior Software Engineer and Owner of Uwyn, and a member of the Board of Directors at Asheville Music School. Contributions include developing open-source firmware for LinnStrument, leading efforts in custom software development, and creating critical personal protective equipment during the COVID-19 pandemic through NCPPE. Geert has delivered presentations at numerous No Fluff, Just Stuff events and has been actively involved in open-source projects at Codehaus. Education includes a high school degree from Jan-van-Ruusbroeckollege.
