Dustin W. has held various positions in the tech industry since 2011. Dustin began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Bioengineering and Control Laboratory at UTSA in 2011. In 2012, they became a Systems Validation Engineer at Intel Corporation. In 2017, they joined Charter Communications as a Support Engineer II, Team Lead, where they led a team of 5 providing support for proprietary legacy systems. In 2018, they joined Moogsoft as a Lead Support Engineer, delivering excellent product support to Fortune 100 customers while leading a team of 9. Dustin was responsible for working with customers to implement their desired solution given their requirements, triage and resolve customer outages across complex deployments/implementations, and debug across L2/L3 networking, OS issues, programming bugs, setup/configuration problems, and product usage issues. Dustin also had exposure to RabbitMQ, MySQL, ElasticSearch, HazelCast, Linux/Windows triage, JavaScript, Java, REST, nginx, haproxy, and SSO implementations (Azure, ADFS, Okta, OneLogin).
Dustin W. attended The University of Texas at San Antonio from 2006 to 2012, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Engineering, as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering from 2006 to 2011.
