Colin Day is a highly experienced Principal Engineer with a robust background in game development and software engineering. Currently at Moon Beast Productions since March 2022, Colin has developed advanced systems for gameplay mechanics, AI, and user interface design. Prior to this role, Colin was a Principal Engineer at Echtra Games, contributing to the successful launch of Torchlight III and overseeing Unreal Engine implementations for multiple console platforms. Colin also founded Spellbind Studios, an independent game studio, and has held engineering positions at notable companies such as Facebook, Gazillion Entertainment, Turbine, Flagship, Blizzard, and Electronic Arts, showcasing expertise in game architecture, networking, and cross-platform development. Colin holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Colorado State University.
