Sr. Product Manager (m/f/d)

Moonfare is looking for its next Sr. Product Manager - Operations (Fund Administration), who will report into our Sr. Director of Product Management and work closely with our Fund Ops team. The successful candidate will work strategically alongside Fund Operations and KYC stakeholders, as well as commercial (Sales, Marketing, Account Management) as required, driving forward the commercial and technical success of our company and product, through a direct strategic partnership with our Fund Administration partners. 

You will:

  • Define and execute the Fund Administration product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with Moonfare's broader product vision and company goals.
  • Manage and optimise the integration and collaboration between Fund Administrators and Moonfare’s dependent departments, including Operations, Sales, Finance, and R&D.
  • Identify and prioritise Fund Administration improvements, coordinating with other product and engineering teams to execute changes and manage cross-team dependencies.
  • Lead technical projects that involve multiple stakeholders, including APIs integration and data flows between systems.
  • Be the primary point of contact for all Fund Administration partners, overseeing service levels, tracking, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Drive vendor management efforts with all of our Fund Administration partners, including pricing negotiations, contract management, and legal discussions.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in servicing costs and process efficiencies through effective KPI management.

The Next Moonfarian:

  • Has 5+ years of product management experience, ideally within Fund Administration, financial services, or fintech.
  • Familiarity with interpreting and implementing fund administration or financial services APIs, and experience managing related integration projects. Background in engineering or technical roles is a plus.
  • Solid background in process improvement and optimisation with the ability to manage financial KPIs.
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiating with vendors, managing contracts, and ensuring high levels of service.
  • Demonstrated success in working across various teams and departments to achieve aligned goals.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a simple and business-focused manner.
