Tommaso Tomba

Tommaso Tomba has a diverse work history, beginning in 2012 as Managing Director LATAM and Europe at Rocket Internet SE. In 2014, they took on the role of Managing Director at Spotcap Global, followed by Entrepreneur In Residence at Brightbridge Ventures in 2015. In 2016, they completed an MSc Software Engineering at the Department of Computer Science, University of Oxford. In 2017, they were Founder in Residence at Deep Science Ventures, where they built and launched Twitch Labs - biometrics (now www. move. ai). In 2020, they became an Investor at Meru.com, and in 2021 they took on Investor roles at Jeeves, SnapCalorie (YC S21), and Vest. Tommaso's earliest role was Co-Founder and CEO of moons (YC W20) in 2018.

Tommaso Tomba's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Economics (First Class Hons.) from the University of Warwick, a Master of Science in Software Engineering from the University of Oxford, a Master of Philosophy in Finance from the University of Cambridge, a year abroad in Applied Mathematics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and Mathematics (A), Computer Science (A), and Economics (A) from The 6th Form College Farnborough.
