Alex Freund started their career as an Engineering Intern at Boeing in 2016. Alex then moved on to Later in 2019 as a Data Engineering Intern. In 2020, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at IBM and as a Graduate Researcher at Miami University. Alex then joined SpaceX in 2021, starting as a Software Engineer and moving up to Software Engineer II and Senior Software Engineer. In 2023, they became the Head of Software at Moonware.
Alex Freund completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Miami University in 2020. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science at the same institution from 2020 to 2021.
