Dean T. Sather

Dean T. Sather is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and environmental analysis within various engineering and historical organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Moore Engineering, Inc. since April 2025, Dean has previously held significant roles at Westwood Professional Services, Jacobs, Wenck, Merjent, Inc., and URS Corporation, including positions such as Power Delivery Permitting Lead and Senior Client Manager. Dean's background also includes leadership in cultural heritage institutions as Executive Director at the Heritage Hjemkomst Interpretive Center and Becker County Historical Society. With a Master’s degree in Archaeology from The University of Kansas and a Bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead, Dean began a career as a seasonal staff archaeologist while in graduate school, establishing a strong foundation in archaeology and project management.
