SOC Director, cheif SOC archtecture at Moore Threads

Alvin Guey has worked in the technology industry since 2006. alvin started their career at Vimicro Corporation as a Digital RTL Engineer, where they were responsible for RTL design for A2/BTSC/NICAM digital demodulators and FPGA validation for RTL design. In 2008, they moved to 聯動科技 as a Sr. IC Designer and was in charge of designing digital part of USB 2.0 PHY, SATA3. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Principal Consultant at Starwave Consulting, where they were a BTSC/A2/NICAM digital demodulator IP consultant and VBI demodulator IP consultant. From 2011 to 2016, they were at Nufront as IC Design Manager and Project Manager, where they designed 802.11n/b/g wifi SOC chips for IOT applications. alvin then moved to Bitmain in 2016 as Senior Project Manager, where they designed BM1680 AI chips for CNN training and inference. Currently, they are at 摩尔线路智能科技(北京)有限责任公司 as SOC Director and Chief SOC Architecture, where they are responsible for GPU SOC architecture design in TSMC7nm process and full function GPU SOC design for Graphic and computing, including PCIE gen5, GDDR6, GPU core, video encode/decoder, Display system and system control with CPU.

Alvin Guey completed a Master's degree in EE and Micro-electronics from Lanzhou University between 2004 and 2007. alvin also completed a Master's degree in the cooperation of the master training program from the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences between 2005 and 2006. Additionally, they attended qiyangyizhong, though it is unclear what they did there.
