John H Gilliland

John H Gilliland has extensive work experience in the real estate industry. John H started in 1987 as a Senior Associate at The Hanes Company. John H then worked as a Vice President at Sperry Van Ness Commercial Realty from 1990 to 1991. From 1992 to 1995, they served as the Commercial Division Manager at Coldwell Banker Commercial Bennett Williams. John H then worked as a Regional CRE Manager at High Associates Ltd. from 1995 to 1998.

In 1998, Gilliland founded Moove In Self Storage, starting with a small investment and one property. John H led the growth and operations of the company, eventually owning 34 self-storage properties in several states. Moove In Self Storage merged with National Storage Affiliates, becoming one of the 10 Participating Regional Operators in the USA.

Gilliland also worked as the Owner and CEO of Investment Real Estate, LLC starting in 1998. In this role, they directed a team of over 50 staff across PA, VA, and CT. John H brokered commercial real estate deals exceeding $1B and led the development and management of investment properties in 12 states.

Additionally, Gilliland served as a Regional Representative at Argus Self Storage Network from 1999 to 2002. The territory they covered was eastern PA and southern NJ.

John H Gilliland completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Dairy Science at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1983 to 1987.
