Johann Forrest

Johann Forrest has a diverse work experience starting from 2012. Johann worked as a Performer for High Steppin' Country at Lakewood Camping Resort Inc from May 2012 to December 2014. During this time, they collaborated with 13 other performers and entertained an audience of up to 300 people three times a week for three to four months a year.

In 2017, Johann joined Snagajob as an Associate Software Engineer. Johann maintained and provided bug fixes for the C# .NET Framework backend, using JQuery, Backbone.js, and Knockout. Later, they became a Software Engineer at Snagajob, where they established Angular 2+ patterns and best practices, mentored junior developers, and developed greenfield location manager and hiring manager dashboards.

In 2018, Johann joined Gotcha as a Lead Full-stack Developer. Johann developed and released rideshare apps for native iOS using Objective-C and Android using Java and Kotlin. Johann also developed dockless bike and scooter rental apps for iOS and Android using QR codes, BLE, and TCP communication. Additionally, they provided dev ops and feature enhancements for various backend services and databases.

Most recently, Johann joined Moovila in 2019 as a Senior Software Engineer.

Johann Forrest completed their Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from Clemson University, from the years 2012 to 2016.
