Brendon Grunewald has held a variety of roles in the corporate world. In 1998, they were appointed Chairman of the Polar Conservation Organisation. In 2004, they became a Board Member of BAM! Entertainment, a publisher of games for consoles and pc. In 2005, they were appointed Board Member of Lumitrend. In 2007, they were appointed Executive Director of Instruxion. In 2008, they were appointed Head of E6 Ventures, a luxembourg based special account venture capital fund focusing on innovative applications of materials. In 2012, they became Co-Founder and CEO of Moovly. In 2015, they were appointed Executive Professor at Antwerp Management School. In 2016, they were appointed Managing Director of Praefidi, an advisory and investment company focused on proactively identifying and servicing industry sectors set for disruption within a 5 - 10 year time frame. In 2019, they became a Member of the Board of Directors of Watcherr, serving on the board from start, through several funding rounds till significant recurring revenue secured. In 2020, they were appointed Board Advisor of bv Azteq, a renewable energy project developer specialised in Concentrated Solar arrays.

Brendon Grunewald completed a BSc in Physics, Electronics, and Computer Science from Rhodes University between 1987 and 1989. Brendon then returned to Rhodes University to pursue a BSc Hons in Physics & Electronics from 1990 to 1991. In 2002, they obtained an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from The Open University. Finally, in 2008, they attended Harvard Business School for a course in Private Equity & Venture Capital.
