Jim Sanford

Vice President Information Technology at Mor Furniture for Less

Jim Sanford has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their role as a Project Manager at FASTECH from 1994 to 1996. Jim then went on to work at Murray's Discount Auto Stores as the Senior Director of System Development from 1996 to 2005. Following that, they served as the Director of Store Systems at CSK Auto (now part of O'Reilly's Auto Parts) from 2005 to 2007. Jim then joined Hewlett-Packard as a Senior Program/Project Manager from 2007 to 2009. Since 2009, they have been with Mor Furniture for Less, where they currently hold the position of Vice President Information Technology. At Mor Furniture for Less, they successfully transformed the support department into a fully-functional IT department by establishing a development team and implementing necessary structures and processes.

Jim Sanford has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Michigan State University. Jim obtained certifications in Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in September 2022, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in October 2007, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute in October 2007.
