Colin Hunter

Colin Hunter is an experienced transport and compliance professional currently serving as the Transport Manager at VLT Logistics Ltd since July 2022. In this role, Colin has successfully established collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and developed a high-performing team, ensuring compliance and excellent customer service. Prior to this, Colin held the position of Group Compliance and Midlands General Manager at Walkers Transport from June 2017 to May 2022, where responsibilities included leading fleet compliance audits and developing training strategies. Earlier experience includes serving as Transport Manager at Maritime Transport Ltd from August 2011 to August 2017, overseeing operations and fleet compliance, as well as working as a Northern Driver Trainer, where Colin implemented training programs focusing on fuel efficiency and health and safety.
