Hilary Wandall

Hilary Wandall is a Board Member at Moravian College. Hilary was previously an Associate Vice President, Compliance & Chief Privacy Officer at Merck from December 1993 to August 2016.

Wandall then became the SVP, Privacy Intelligence and General Counsel at TrustArc from August 2016 to June 2021. Hilary led the company’s privacy intelligence strategy and the product efforts for content and regulatory data-driven solutions. Hilary also created and developed the vision for PrivacyCentral, the first data intelligence solution for end-to-end privacy management, and Risk Profile, an intelligence-powered enterprise, privacy, and vendor risk management solution.

During their time at TrustArc, Wandall also led the company’s legal, public policy, and strategic partnership efforts. Hilary led the legal efforts for the company's Series D financing. Hilary also led the legal and integration planning efforts for the company's acquisition of Nymity Inc. In addition, they led the company's contributions to the development of the EU Cloud of Conduct for Service Providers, the first Code of Conduct approved under GDPR.

At TrustArc, Wandall managed legal; privacy intelligence research, development, and product; policy and regulatory affairs; and business development teams. Hilary also served as Corporate Secretary.

Hilary Wandall has a Master of Bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, an M.B.A. in Legal Studies from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, and a J.D. from Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law. Hilary also has a B.S. in Biology from Moravian University, and is certified by the AIPMM in Agile Certified Product Manager Product Owner, the IAPP in Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP), CIPM, CIPP/E, and CIPP/US, and by the Supreme Court of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in Bar of the Courts of the Commonwealth of Pennysylania.
