Richard Ella Citp

Richard Ella CITP MCSE has a diverse range of work experience in various organizations and roles. Richard is currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees at The Beaumont Charity since May 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of IT at Morden College starting from October 2018. In the same year, they also served as the Chair of Governors at Forres Primary School. Richard has an extensive background in the charity sector, having served as a Trustee of Charity IT Leaders from January 2012 to December 2018 and as the Head of IT & Compliance at Independent Age from March 2003 to September 2018. Before entering the charity sector, they worked as an Information Technology Security Analyst at CABLETEL (UK) LIMITED from April 1996 to September 1997. Richard also has experience in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve (Training) as a Royal Air Force VR from March 1991 to May 1996. Richard has held various IT-related positions in organizations such as Cott Beverages UK & Europe, JAY-BE, and DARBY GLASS LTD.

Richard Ella CITP MCSE has a strong education background in the field of Information Systems and Computing Science. Richard obtained a BSc (hons) degree in Information Systems for Business from Leeds Metropolitan University, where they studied from 1992 to 1995. Prior to that, they completed a HND in Information Systems for Business at Doncaster College from 1992 to 1994. Richard also holds a OND in Computer Studies from North Lindsey Technical College, which they obtained from 1983 to 1985, specializing in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Richard has acquired several certifications in the field. Richard is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and has completed the Prince 2 Practitioner Level certification through the Association for Project Management. Richard is also certified as a FAST Approved Software Manager by the Federation Against Software Theft, and has obtained the ITIL V3 Foundation Level certification from ITIL Certified. Furthermore, Richard has completed Level 2 certification in Risk Management & Assessment from CIEH and holds the FAST Approved Software Auditor certification from the Federation Against Software Theft.
