Previously, Gerd was a Partner at Make Sense Global from October 2018 to July 2020, specializing in creating communication platforms for major events and activations. Gerd co-owned MOI Content powered by Ministry of Illusion from August 2000 to July 2018, and earlier served as a Senior VFX Artist at The Video Lab from 1996 to 2000. Gerd's educational background includes a three-year Diploma in Advertising Art and Graphic Design from the AAA School of Advertising and a Diploma in Graphic Design from Technikon Witwatersrand.
