Birgit Aaronaes

Birgit Aaronaes has extensive experience in marine and environmental governance, currently serving as the Head of Marine and Environment & International Collaboration at Møre og Romsdal fylkeskommune since May 2012. Prior to this role, Birgit Aaronaes worked at the Norwegian Seafood Council as an Adviser for Fisheries, Aquaculture, and Law, and also held the position of Director for Italy. From September 1994 to May 1999, Birgit Aaronaes was an Adviser in the Norwegian Ministry of Fisheries and Coastal Affairs, focusing on industry, trade, and export. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Law from the University of Oslo and a two-year degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing Analysis and Planning from Molde University College.
