Gavin Coopey

Gavin Coopey is the current Director at More Impact. Prior to this, they held the position of Development Director at Cancer Research UK from January 2003 to December 2006. As Development Director, Gavin was responsible for Innovation and Brand management as well as leading the Corporate Partnerships team and at times the e-business and major donor programs. Gavin enjoyed leading a team of 60 people and helped provide strategic leadership across the Fundraising and Marketing group of 1,500 employees in areas of Brand and Innovation.

Gavin's previous experience also includes positions such as Fundraising Manager at Oxfam Australia from January 1990 to December 1993, Senior Account Manager at DDB from January 1989 to December 1990, Senior Consultant at Pareto Fundraising from January 2006 to June 2009, and Head of Business Development at Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund from January 1998 to December 2002.

Gavin Coopey attended Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys before going on to study Ba Hons Geography at Lancaster University.
