Howayda Affan

Howayda Affan is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in arts and museum management. Currently serving as the Executive Director at Morean Arts Center since 2019, Howayda previously held the position of Director of Marketing & Communications at Angel Kids Pediatrics from 2018 to 2019 and was the Director of Development at the Museum of Science & History from 2015 to 2017. Earlier roles include Assistant Director, Collections Manager, and Assistant Curator at The Armenian Museum of America from 2008 to 2015. Howayda began the career as an intern in Collections Management at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston from 2005 to 2007. Educationally, Howayda obtained a Master’s Degree in Museum Studies from Harvard University between 2004 and 2009.
