Neil Wainwright

Neil Wainwright started their work experience in 1998 as a professional footballer for Sunderland FC. Neil then played for Darlington FC from 2001 to 2008 and later joined Morecambe FC as a professional footballer from 2008 to 2011. In 2011, they became a volunteer player for OUAS Charity FC and also took on the role of Official Patron for Once Upon A Smile. Neil worked as a writer for Media 73 Ltd from 2011 to 2015 and became the First Team Manager for Lancaster City FC from 2012 to 2013. Neil also had a brief stint as a professional footballer for Darlington FC in 2012. In 2013, they joined Morecambe FC as the PYD Phase Lead Coach and Head Development Centre Coach, where they developed players through various age groups. Currently, Neil holds the position of Academy Head of Coaching at Morecambe Football Club since 2020.

Neil Wainwright attended Sychdyn CP from 1987 to 1989 and then went on to Mold Alun for further education from 1989 to 1994. No specific degrees or fields of study were mentioned for either school.
