Stella Smolowitz is currently serving as a Bilingual Patient Navigator at UNC Health, providing crucial support to Spanish-speaking patients and their families. Alongside this role, Stella is a Producer and Co-Host for Morehead-Cain's Catalyze Podcast, where engaging interviews with alumni and industry leaders inspire students and foster connections. In addition, Stella actively organizes service events as the Service Co-Chair for Public Health 360 and leads diversity initiatives as the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Chair for Phi Mu Fraternity. Stella's internship experiences include producing a podcast series focused on educational equity with Ako Mātātupu and conducting research on the intersection of art and healthcare at the Alice L. Walton School of Medicine. Stella's educational background encompasses a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and ongoing studies at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health and Centro Universitario EUSA.
