Dr. Charles E. Thomas Jr.

Dr. Charles E. Thomas Jr. currently serves as the Director of Online General Education and Associate Professor of Philosophy and Religion at Morehouse College, a position held since August 2023. Additionally, Dr. Thomas has been the Director of the Doctor of Ministry Program and VP of Administrative Services/COO at the Interdenominational Theological Center since January 2013. Previous roles include adjunct faculty at Duquesne University from August 2007 to May 2013, temporary faculty at Slippery Rock University from August 2011 to January 2013, and pastor at Mt. Carmel Community Baptist Church from March 2007 to January 2013. Dr. Thomas earned a PhD in Communication & Rhetoric from Duquesne University, an MDiv in Theology from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, and a BS in Community Ministry from Geneva College.
