Walter Douglas

Walter L. Douglas, Jr. currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Operations and Business Affairs at Morehouse School of Medicine, a position held since January 2023. Additionally, since January 2019, Walter has been a Partner at Optimal Performance Management, focusing on professional coaching and knowledge sharing. Prior roles include Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Neighborhood Health Services Corporation, where oversight of all operations occurred from February 2022 to January 2023, and Chief Operating Officer at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School from July 2013 to March 2022. Walter's extensive experience also includes key management positions at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey and New Jersey Institute of Technology, along with development roles at Fordham University. Walter holds an MBA from the Jack Welch Management Institute and completed a Mini-MBA at Rutgers Business School, alongside a BA in Psychology from Rutgers University - Newark.
