Tara Morrow has a diverse work experience in the education and real estate sectors. Tara started their career as a Mathematics Teacher and Cheer/Track Coach at Madison County Schools in 1994. Tara then worked as a Mathematics Teacher and Cheer Coach at Decatur City Schools from 1997 to 2005. Following that, they joined Madison City Schools in 2005 as a Mathematics Teacher and Cheer Coach, where they stayed until 2012. In 2012, they became a Principal at Morgan County School System. Most recently, in 2022, they joined MarMac Real Estate as a Realtor.

Tara Morrow attended Hartselle High School from 1986 to 1990 where they earned their High School Diploma. After that, they pursued a degree in Secondary Education with a field of study in Mathematics at The University of Alabama from 1990 to 1994. Later, they obtained a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from the University of Alabama at Birmingham between 1998 and 2000.
