Alan Host has over two decades of law enforcement and pastoral experience. Since June 2014, Alan has served as a Deputy at the Morgan County Sheriff's Office, focusing on patrol duties. Prior to this role, Alan held positions at Daystar Church from August 2011 to October 2013 and New Covenant Church Hartselle from January 2000 to August 2011, where responsibilities included worship leadership, counseling, youth leadership, and maintenance. Alan's career in public service began at the City of Hartselle, where from September 1991 to August 1998, expertise was developed in the patrol division, ultimately achieving the rank of Lieutenant.
