Joseph Mendez

Joseph Mendez is an experienced educator and consultant with a diverse background in museum education, community affairs, and government relations. Currently serving as a lecturer and educator at The Morgan Library & Museum since March 2013, Joseph focuses on guiding discussions about the architecture and history of the library's campus and its exhibitions. As the principal of JM Communications since 2010, Joseph specializes in enhancing relationships between companies and government regulators, particularly for startups in digital media. Previous roles include educator and exhibition services at the Museum of the Moving Image, government relations specialist at Parsons Corp, and director of the Affordable Housing Corp, where Joseph successfully ran initiatives to stabilize inner-city neighborhoods.
