Rebecca Pollak is an experienced paper conservator currently serving as an Associate Paper Conservator at The Morgan Library & Museum since March 2023. Prior roles include Associate Paper Conservator at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Senior Research Conservator at Scientific Analysis of Fine Art, LLC. Rebecca also held positions as Research Fellow at The Bard Graduate Center, Assistant Conservation Scientist at Sotheby's, and Andrew W. Mellon Fellow in Paper Conservation at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Earlier experience includes a Paper Conservation Fellowship at Buffalo State College and a managerial role at Kremer Pigments Inc. Educational credentials include a degree in Art Conservation from Buffalo State University, attendance at Hunter College, and a BFA in Printmaking and Art History from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
