Alison Mueller has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Alison began their career as a Trainee Chartered Accountant at French Duncan LLP in 1997. Alison then worked as an Assistant Manager at Guernsey International Fund Managers from 2000 to 2004. Following that, they joined Abbey as a Senior Financial Analyst in 2004. Alison worked as the Group Financial Controller at Stewart Asset Management Group from 2005 to 2012. Alison then took on a contract role as a Consultant at Morgan Stanley Fund Services. In 2013, they became the Head of Finance at @SIPP, overseeing the finance function of the specialist pension provider. Alison then moved on to become the Group Financial Controller at Scottish Equity Partners (SEP) in 2014. Their responsibilities included investor reporting and cashflow monitoring. In 2015, they joined Morgan Stanley as the Vice President of Fund Services. Most recently, Alison has held finance leadership positions at Morgan Philips Group, serving as the UK Head of Finance from 2019 to 2020 before becoming the UK Finance Director in 2020.
Alison Mueller has a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy from Glasgow Caledonian University, which they obtained from 1991 to 1995. Alison then pursued a Master's Degree in Business IT Systems from Strathclyde Business School from 1995 to 1996. After that, they completed their CA qualification from ICAS - The Professional Body of CAs from 1997 to 2000. Additionally, they hold certifications in Financial Planning from the Chartered Insurance Institute and in Guernsey Insurance from Guernsey Business School.
