Alan Smedley

Alan Smedley is an experienced construction professional currently serving as the Director of National Frameworks and Preconstruction Director at Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure since September 2015. Prior to this role, Alan held the position of Preconstruction Director at Balfour Beatty Construction Services UK from September 2002 to October 2015, where leadership was demonstrated as Chief Estimator of Mansell Construction Services South. Alan began a career in the industry at Henry Jones (Kier Southern) from 1989 to 2002, starting as an Assistant Estimator and advancing to Senior Estimator. Alan holds a degree from Solent University, earned from 1987 to 1991.
