Matthew Mitchell

Matthew Mitchell is an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, where since June 2014, Matthew has focused on Merger Arbitrage & Special Situations. Prior to this role, Mitchell served as Vice President in Sales & Trading at the same firm. Before joining Morgan Stanley, Mitchell was a Research Analyst at Golub Capital from October 2013 to May 2014, specializing in Opportunistic Credit and analyzing investment opportunities in event-driven scenarios. Mitchell's military service includes a tenure as a Sergeant with the United States Marine Corps, where responsibilities included Scout Sniper duties during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Academically, Mitchell holds an M.B.A. in Corporate Finance and Law & Business from NYU Stern School of Business, and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Temple University.
