Olumide Olawale

Olumide Olawale is an experienced financial professional currently serving as the Executive Director - ESG Financial Controller at Morgan Stanley since July 2025, and as a member of the IFRS Sustainability Reference Group at the International Sustainability Standards Board since October 2024. Prior to these roles, Olumide was involved in sustainable investing at OMERS from January 2023 to July 2025 and held various positions at TD, including Environmental & Social Risk Management. Consulting experience includes acting as the Principal Consultant at Sam&Wright Consulting, where management of a multi-disciplinary team facilitated financing for over 50 startups. Olumide's early career includes roles at PwC in both Nigeria and the Middle East, where responsibilities included managing audit and advisory services. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from Ivey Business School and a degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ibadan, complemented by advanced studies in financing clean energy at Yale University.
