Rick Ball is the Vice Chairman at Morgan Stanley, a position held since the firm committed to expanding its global capabilities in the Australian market in 1999. They graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne in 1982 and began their career at Arthur Anderson as one of the inaugural members of the Corporate Finance Division. After five years, Rick transitioned to the investment banking sector with stints at ANZ McCaughan and UBS Australia, where they served as Managing Director from 1993 to 1999. Additionally, Rick has held Non-Executive Director roles, including Chair of AG Thompson and Director and Chair of Lauriston Girls School and The Hunger Project Australia.
