Chiharu Tanaka

Chiharu Tanaka is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in graphic and type design. Currently serving as a Creative Designer and Market Researcher at Morisawa USA Inc. since February 2017, Chiharu has a rich background that includes a role as a Graphic/Type Designer at PSY/OPS Type Foundry from April 2010 to December 2023, and previous positions as a Brand Designer at Landor and a Graphic Designer at John McNeil Studio. Notably, a significant project involved a full company rebrand of Juniper Networks for a NYSE launch campaign. Chiharu's career began in Japan, freelancing as a Graphic Designer at Keibunsha/Editing & Publishing, and includes a foundational role at Creative Communication Lesmains. Chiharu holds a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Academy of Art University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Textile Design from Tama Art University.
