Alexander Gifford

Alexander Gifford is an experienced leader in the fields of design and education, currently serving as the Head of Arts (Interim) at Morley College London since December 2021, focusing on strategic leadership, quality enhancement, and financial sustainability in lifelong learning. Gifford has held various roles including Programme Area Manager for 3D design courses, Industry Advisor and assessment writer at Pearson, and T Level Exam writer for NCFE. Previous positions include Design Lecturer at City of Westminster College, Design Director at KI Europe, and Brand Communications Manager at Steelcase. Gifford also chaired the Design Guild Mark, promoting excellence in British design, and has extensive experience in branding and product development from roles at The Senator Group and Kinnarps. Academic qualifications include a Master's in Industrial Design Engineering from the Royal College of Art, an Art Foundation degree from Leith School of Art, and a BEng (Hons) in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Birmingham.
