Mark Dunford

Mark Dunford is an accomplished academic and industry professional with extensive experience in media, education, and the creative industries. Currently serving as an Academic Developer at Morley College London, Dunford oversees the academic development of creative courses and partnerships, contributing to the institution's recognition in the Teaching Excellence Framework. As the Director of DigiTales since 2008, Dunford has led research projects in digital storytelling. Previous roles include Assistant Head of School at the University of Westminster and Associate Dean at the University of East London. With a background in academic leadership and quality assurance across various universities, including the University of Brighton and the University of Hertfordshire, Dunford has also contributed significantly to media production through positions at Hi8us Media and Arts Council England. Mark Dunford holds a PhD in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Brighton, alongside a Master's degree from the University of Westminster and a Bachelor's degree in History from Sheffield Hallam University.
