Sofia Baig has diverse work experience spanning across different industries. Sofia began their professional career as a Capitol Hill Intern at the U.S. House of Representatives in 2014. In 2015, they pursued an Investment Banking Internship at Wood Warren & Co. The following year, Sofia worked as a Coalition Intern at The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights.
In 2017, Sofia joined the Federal Reserve Board, where they held multiple roles over the years. Sofia started as a Senior Research Assistant in June 2017 and then transitioned to the role of Quantitative Analyst in March 2020. Sofia was later promoted to the position of Quantitative Analyst II in April 2022.
Most recently, Sofia joined Morning Consult in 2022 as an Economic Research Analyst.
Sofia Baig completed their high school education at The Davidson Academy from 2009 to 2013. Sofia then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Economics at Pomona College, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Recently, Sofia attended Georgetown University from 2019 to 2021, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Mathematics and Statistics.
