Kat Cornett has a diverse work experience in various industries. Kat started their career in 2012 as a Seasonal Sales Associate at Augusta National Golf Club. Kat then worked as an Event Manager at CleanEvent Services Ltd for a brief period in 2012. In 2014, they joined Dell as a Corporate Sales Account Manager and stayed in this role until 2016. Following that, they worked as a Sales Executive at Bernard Health from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, they became a Site Manager at Turnip Truck and held this position until 2018. In 2019, they joined Parkridge Valley as a Director Of Business Development, but their tenure ended later that year. Independent Healthcare Properties (IHP), LLC, a Chattanooga, TN.-based senior healthcare services company, develops, owns and manages over 32 Morning Pointe® Assisted Living, Personal Care and The Lantern Alzheimer’s Memory Care Center of Excellence communities in five southeastern states including Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky and Indiana. We provide services in a comfortable home-like environment with the benefit of having nursing care available when needed. • Individual care plans are coordinated by licensed nurses and with healthcare providers in order to maintain an optimized healthcare management plan. These plans are drafted, programmed and reviewed regularly allowing staff to meet the ever changing needs of the resident.  Licensed nurses provide oversight of health, wellness and medication administration while licensed clinical staff are available 24 hours a day. Transportation to doctor appointments is also offered. • On-Site Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy Services are available through both an outpatient clinic and home health aimed at keeping residents independent longer. • Restaurant-style dining can be found in a central dining room offering three delicious meals per day, regular alternate selections and dietician oversight. • An Active Senior Social calendar keeps residents engaged with the greater community and includes intergenerational programming, service projects and regular weekly outings. • Additional services and amenities include, but are not limited to: a 24-hour emergency response system, housekeeping and linen services, barber and beauty shop covered porches, courtyards and walking areas.
