Cynthia Pekron

Cynthia Pekron has extensive experience in data collections systems and product engineering, serving as the Head of Data Collections Systems and Head of Product and Engineering for Analytics at Morningstar since November 2013. Prior roles at Morningstar include Director of Product and Engineering, Analytics, Senior Project Manager for the Direct Cloud Program, and Project Manager for Information Products. Prior to joining Morningstar, Cynthia worked at Amazon.com as a Kindle Content Risk Management Specialist and at the United Nations Development Programme as a consultant in the Bureau of Development Policy. Additional experience includes roles in corporate social responsibility at Alcoa, various internships in the arts and development sectors, and academic support at Georgetown University. Cynthia holds degrees from Georgetown University and Carnegie Mellon University.
