Joan Schaper

Joan Schaper is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership roles at Morningstar, having served since July 2008 in various capacities, including Chief of Staff for Sustainalytics and Indexes, Head of Community Engagement, and Head of Index Products. Noteworthy achievements include overseeing global shared service centers and international human resources functions, as well as leading the development of strategic beta indexes with a focus on ESG. Prior to Morningstar, Joan held significant positions at TGR Research and S&P Global, where responsibilities included managing European Equity Research and operations, as well as business development in North America. Joan holds a Bachelor's degree in History from Washington and Lee University.
